VICODA Group – Joint appearance at InnoTrans 2018

Together with the VICODA Group and our chinese partner Zhejiang Tiantie Industry, Calenberg Ingenieure GmbH successfully participated in the largest international railway exhibition, InnoTrans, in Berlin. The complete product range for track superstructure was presented, e.g. track beds, sub-ballast mats, elastic base plate pads and elastic rail pads for rail mounting systems, single underlays for mass spring systems (MSS), Oil-Ex absorption mats, as well as Cisilent noise protection walls.

Particular interest among the many visitors at the stand from all over the world was  aroused by the USM conical stud mats for full-surface and strip-shaped underlays as part of mass spring systems, by which obtrusive shocks and structure-borne noise due to railway operations can be effectively reduced. The rail specialists were also impressed by the elastic base plate pads and elastic rail pads of foam EPDM elatomer, especially because of their good material-related stability and long life due to their constant elastic prperties under continuous load.

The Oil-Ex absorption mat also excited interest, as it protects the track bed and the earth below from pollution by oils or similar harmful liquids and so helps rail operators to fulfill the increasing environmental demands.
